My name is Daniella Russell and I own and run DPilates. I am a fully qualified Level 3 Pilates teacher using the Body Control Pilates® method and am a member of REPs (Register of Exercise Professionals).
I started practising Pilates nine years ago and from the minute I stepped foot inside my first Pilates class I loved it. After only a few weeks I really noticed a difference in the way that I moved, my strength and in the way that I looked. I felt happier and healthier and my enthusiasm for it grew. It also helped me return to shape and regain my abdominal strength after having both of my children.
I spent 16 years in the media industry and after the birth of my second child in 2011 I decided to change careers. I wanted to do something that I truly loved and was passionate about. Not only that but I wanted to inspire confidence and do something that would benefit other people both physically and mentally. As such I trained with Body Control Pilates® to become a fully qualified Pilates teacher.
My classes are friendly and fun, and will immediately leave you with a sense of wellbeing. Clients are met with encouragement and care as they progress each week in order to build confidence, with a noticeable difference in their stamina and the way that they move.
I teach group matwork classes and also offer private classes or smaller groups (on application).
